Built Around a Proprietary Therapeutic Approach
GLP-1 receptor agonists are transforming the treatment of metabolic diseases, but gastrointestinal side effects remain a significant challenge. Approximately 50–60% of patients experience gastrointestinal adverse effects, while around 10% are unable to tolerate treatment at all, potentially limiting treatment adherence and patient outcomes.
Apsynora is developing HT-101, a novel approach designed to reduce GLP-1-induced gastrointestinal distress and improve treatment tolerability. The programme has progressed through replicated preclinical studies and into clinical evaluation, with an international intellectual property strategy supporting the use of HT-101 and related compounds.
Our goal is simple: help more patients benefit from GLP-1 therapies by making treatment more tolerable.
